Many times, people have no signs of high blood pressure. This
is why it is so important to have your blood pressure checked often. High blood pressure is known as the "silent
killer", and this is because frequently there are no symptoms. Here are some of the signs of high blood pressure
you may experience: Headache Dizziness Nausea Blurred Vision Confusion Fatigue Insomnia

You may also feel just "out of sorts" and not really know
why. The most common sign of hypertension, if you do show any symptoms, is headache. If you have headaches or
any other symptoms of high blood pressure often, be sure to see your doctor. High blood pressure when left untreated
can cause heart attack, stroke and aneurysm. Be on the safe side - check your readings often, especially if you do
have several of the signs of high blood pressure.
Although people with high blood pressure may have many of these symptoms, they also occur just
as often in people with normal blood pressure. If someone has high blood pressure that has been longstanding and
left untreated, symptoms such as headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, restlessness, and blurred vision
can occur as a result of damage to the brain, eyes, heart and kidneys. In rare cases, high blood pressure may cause brain
swelling, which can lead to drowsiness and coma. If you have any of these signs of high blood pressure, see your doctor
immediatly.
